White Wedding Card

I used a combination of 3 different embossing folders to make this wedding card. The heart sentiment panel was die cut with a stitched heart nesting set of dies. I know it's hard to see them, but there are 2 of the tiniest die-cut hearts from the die set that I placed on the lower right also. I cut 4 strips of 1x3"  and embossed them with a  SU! Petal Burst SU! ef, placing them with just a tiny space between them. Above that I cut a narrow strip of white and embossed that with a SU! Fancy Fan ef, and on the very top I cut a strip of white and embossed that with a WeRMemoryKeepers next level Gemstone ef. I added some white satin ribbon in horizontal rows to separate the embossed panels, then placed the heart sentiment on top with foam dimensionals. I silver-embossed the SU! sentiment and added some pearls with my very old pearl pen and then added some Nuvo crystal gems to the tiny hearts on the bottom. I decided to emboss the envelope flap to match the card. If you click the picture, it should get larger so you can see the details.

I'm sharing this with the Double D "All White" challenge as well as the Dies R Us Challenge #79 which is "anything goes using dies."

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a great weekend!

How Beautiful, Carol! So elegant!

Carol, we don't go much of anywhere anymore either. What we usually do is a ONE day adventure during the week...so we can get out of the house.
Last week it was to a grocery store 45 minutes from home! (You know the one we sometimes get a free breakfast on our birthday...smile) And this past week our ONE day adventure was a trip to Walmart! How exciting is that? Well, it was for me! I can't remember the last time I got to go there!

This is so cool and makes up into an elegant card. My online stamp club is doing a white on white card swap next so this is perfect inspiration as I don't have ideas. I have a hard time with white on white not why you might think though.... it's because I use scraps and it turns out not all my white scraps are the same color white. So the only idea I had for this swap was to be sure to use the same piece of cardstock to put it together so all the white would be the same.

You've created an absolute winner, Carol, a card that will be cherished forever by the recipients! The interest you generated by using three e/fs is phenomenal!! Hugs, Darnell

Your white on white wedding card is glorious! I adore all of that fabulous texture, the mixing and matching of the embossing is beautiful! Your large decorated heart is perfect for this special occasion and I can see the 2 itty bitty hearts fine from here! I also just made a wedding card with hearts and the sentiment reads: 2 hearts become 1, that's what your fabulous card says to me. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Double D, All White Challenge, Donna, DT Member.

What beautiful embossing! The gemstone folder certainly is interesting. The Nuvo drops on the heart are so artfully arranged and love the silver embossed sentiment. Perfect for a wedding! Thanks for sharing with us in our All White challenge at Double D!
